Easily one of the trashiest dives I've ever experienced. They're right next to several good restaurants, so you can continue raging here after a tasty Mexican dinner at Senor Frijoles, and before drunk-driving back to wherever your bed is. They do have good local beers here, and some from outside Florida, as well as a jukebox and pool table. In New York, this bar would have serious hipster cred, but down in Key Largo, it seems to draw a lot of local urchins. Young dudes with thick chains and unintentionally paint-splashed denim stood around watching me and my friend play pool while their tweener lady friends made out with each other, grasping for attention. I wasn't feeling the vibe in here that night, but for some it might actually be a fun hangout.

While on a girl's trip with my best friend, we decided to eat at Cactus Jack's. The night before we had eaten at a nearby local eatery and really enjoyed the scenery. We noticed when leaving this nearby restaurant that Cactus Jack's had a very low key, sports bar kind of vibe and after a long day snorkeling felt like this would be the perfect environment for a greasy burger and beer. Immediately upon entering the bar, we noticed that we were the only tourists inside the bar. We didn't let this discourage us to the scene since they had a wide array of beers and the food choices were exactly what we wanted. We were half greeted by a dark hair female bartender with no personality who didn't even take the time to smile or explain the menu to us. We placed our orders and paid. We notified the bartender that we would be sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful sunset and she quickly assured us that she would not be carrying food outside to us and that we should watch for her to place our orders on the bar. As we sat outside, we watched the local patrons heckle and laugh at us through the glass. The bartender was right, she did not bring us our food and at one point a patron opened the door to tell us our food was at the bar. As for the food, our burgers were not throughly cooked and we were not offered any toppings to place on them. My friend's burger was bleeding! Upon leaving, we watched that same bartender, who refused to provide any service to us outside on the deck, clean off another local patron's table outside and bring them new drinks. I will not recommend this place of service to anyone. I only gave a 1 star review because the sunset was so lovely over the water.

We really enjoy when they have music. Nice selection of beers and service staff that's always on point. Local hangout for everyone that works in the Keys.

I don't know about the food here, but this is a great dive bar. If you are in Key Largo and looking for some cocktails and pool, this is your place. Stick to liquor as there is no good beer here. **Note** Key Largo is kind of a hole, but if you are stuck there this a fun dive bar for talking to people and getting wasted
